The team consists of, from left to right;

Our Services

The team are responsible for the management of the Master Drawings of the University’s property portfolio. 

We manage accurate drawn records of academic, non-academic and the university's residential properties 300+ buildings in total.

This work includes constantly updating the drawings to keep accurate records of the buildings for accurate space charging and also for use in for use by the design teams for feasibility, planning and project work.

In addition to this we also maintain accurate and detailed landscape (public realm) drawings across the University’s various campuses.

The team also offer a CAD & Surveying support service to other areas of the Professional Services Unit and the Design Services Unit within Estates.

We are responsible for the management of the AutoCAD software, used by the estates teams. This includes the CAD standards and procedures to be used, CAD training, licensing and best practice.

We are also responsible for the management of the Archibus/FM Space Management Information System and interface with other modules, including the collation and update of the University's estate.

This involves the provision of annual reporting, analysis and interpretation of data for, TRAC/fEC, Space Charging, HEFCE Estate Management Statistics (EMS), Space norms and standards and Space utilisation. The management of requests for space and relinquishing of space and the administration of the Space Management Group.

We also offer strategic and professional space planning advice, provision of building numbers and advice on room numbering of buildings in-line with EPM GM11 and co-ordination of HEFCE Estate Management. Statistics project, together with providing assistance and development of data produced.
